What's new

Redesigned Application Header

The main navigation header has been completely redesigned. It now combines the company switcher, the main menu, and the quick-create button into a single, cleaner bar. A new Create button gives direct access to creating new records from any screen. The company selector now displays a searchable dropdown, making it easier to navigate between companies.

Consulted Companies

A new cross-company collaboration model is now available. A "consulting" company can be granted access to objects (ROPA records, assets, documents, etc.) belonging to a "consulted" company. Permissions (read and/or write) are configured per audience, and users from the consulting company see the consulted company's data within their familiar workspace. This enables group structures and external DPO mandates to be managed directly within the platform.

Audience Management — Redesigned Form

The Audience form has been reorganised into three clear tabs:

  • Assigned Users — manage which users belong to this audience.
  • Assigned Companies — configure which consulted companies are linked and at what permission level.
  • Assigned Permissions — define read and write access per object type.

The previous separate Read Access and Write Access sub-forms have been consolidated into the Assigned Permissions tab.

User Settings Page

A new User Settings page is now accessible from the user menu. Users can manage their own preferences — including interface language selection — without requiring administrator intervention.

Azure AD User Support Improvements

The login flow for users authenticated via Azure Active Directory has been extended. Azure users are now fully registered in the system on first login, including role assignment and company association.

Improvements

  • Login page — The login screen has been visually refreshed with updated animations and clearer error messaging. Invalid credential and company validation errors now display more specific, actionable messages.
  • Company selector (header) — The company dropdown now shows the default company pre-selected and supports search filtering directly in the dropdown.
  • Audience permissions — Read and write access configuration has been unified and simplified; permissions can now be set per company within an audience.
  • User Management — Create User — The user creation form now includes improved role assignment and audience association, and supports the new consulted-company model.
  • CMMI Maturity Model — Labels and translations for the CMMI maturity model have been added and corrected across all supported languages.
  • Linked objects — Internal standards and other object types that were previously missing from the linkable elements list are now available.
  • Tags — Translation completeness for tags has been verified and corrected.
  • Incomplete UI sentences — Several labels and sentences across the interface that were truncated or grammatically incomplete have been corrected.
  • Spanish terminology — A terminology correction has been applied to the Spanish translation (previously incorrect term for a clothing-related category).

Fixes

  • [NG-4281] The "Add" button for linking elements to Documents & Policies was incorrectly shown in contexts where linking is not permitted; it is now hidden.
  • [NG-4582] An error state design issue in certain forms has been corrected.
  • [NG-4594] A fix has been applied to a form submission error affecting certain record types.
  • [NG-4597] A crash reported via Sentry related to undefined data in a specific view has been resolved.
  • [NG-4598 / NG-4599] Two Sentry-reported errors causing unexpected behaviour in edge cases have been fixed.
  • [NG-4606] Spanish-language terminology has been corrected following a terminology review.
  • [NG-4152] Incomplete sentences in the UI have been resolved.
  • The changelog capture no longer fails when certain fields are undefined.
  • Audience notifications component has been removed from the audience form to streamline the workflow.
  • Z-index layering issues affecting dropdowns and modals have been resolved.
