Overview

This release delivers three major additions: an AI auto-generation capability that can suggest and populate fields in your Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), a new Assessment Permalink system that lets you share assessments with external respondents via a secure, time-limited link, and predefined default tags for Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR). Alongside these new features, several usability improvements and bug fixes have been applied to the Assessment Builder and other areas of the platform.

What's new

AI-assisted auto-completion for ROPA [NG-2041, NG-1991, NG-2095, NG-2097, NG-2099, NG-2100, NG-2115, NG-2163, NG-2222, NG-2230]

ROPA records now include an AI auto-generate function. When activated, the AI analyses the information already entered in a record and suggests values for a range of fields — such as categories of personal data, legal basis, affected persons, assets, risk scenarios, and more. You can review the suggestions and accept or discard them field by field.

While the AI is processing a record, the record is temporarily locked to prevent conflicting edits. A clear status indicator shows whether the AI job is running, has completed, or has been stopped. You can also stop a running job or retry a failed one directly from the record detail view. Fields that were created or last updated by the AI are marked accordingly in the change log.

Assessment Permalink [NG-2305, NG-2307]

A new Assessment Permalink feature allows you to generate a secure, shareable link for an assessment. External recipients — who do not need a Priverion account — can open the link in their browser and complete the questionnaire. You can configure:

• Which assessment template is used

• An optional expiration date for the link

• A list of recipients who will receive the link by e-mail

• Whether the respondent must authenticate before accessing the form

The permalink management screen is accessible from the Assessments section and provides an overview of all active and expired permalinks.

Predefined default tags for DSAR [NG-2344]

Data Subject Request (DSAR) statuses and types now ship with a set of predefined default tags, making it quicker to get started with DSR tracking without having to configure every tag from scratch.

Improvements

• Assessment Builder – drag-and-drop: Drag-and-drop behaviour when reordering questions and sections has been stabilised [NG-1445].

• Assessment Builder – navigation: The question list in the sidebar now scrolls automatically to bring a newly added question or section into view [NG-1172, NG-2324].

• Assessment Builder – go-to / hide conditions: The "Go to" and "Hide" condition configuration buttons are no longer shown for text-type questions, where they are not applicable [NG-2325].

• Assessment Builder – open sections: An issue where sections did not open correctly in the builder has been resolved, improving the editing experience [NG-2323].

• Assessment response scoring: The result score for an assessment response is now recalculated correctly whenever answers are changed [NG-2329].

• Assessment results section: A dedicated results block can now be added to an assessment template, displaying the calculated score to the respondent at the end of the questionnaire [NG-2359].

• ROPA – AI status visibility: ROPA list and detail views display a clear AI-status indicator (badge) so you can see at a glance which records are currently being processed, have been completed by AI, or are in a normal state.

• Tags – settings menu: The settings menu for assessment questions has been corrected so that all relevant options are shown consistently.

Fixes

• [NG-2329] Assessment response result scores were not being recalculated after answers were updated — this has been corrected.

• [NG-1445] Drag-and-drop in the Assessment Builder could behave unexpectedly in certain configurations; the underlying logic has been fixed.

• [NG-2323] Sections in the Assessment Builder did not always open as expected when navigating between them.

• [NG-2325] The go-to / hide configuration button was incorrectly displayed for text-type questions and has been hidden for that question type.

• [NG-2324] Scrolling in the question navigation menu did not reliably land on the correct question; this has been corrected.
