Release 244 (29.03.2025)
Version: 244
Release Date: 29.03.2025 19:00 CET
Overview
This release introduces configurable session timeout controls, a new mechanism that alerts users when a record has been changed by another user since they last opened it, and an updated risk calculation flow that recalculates residual risk after mitigations are applied. Numerous bug fixes address issues in assessments, TOMs, retentions & deletions, DPIA, and various settings areas.

What's new
Session timeout management [NG-2089]
Administrators can now configure active and inactive session durations directly in the IT Settings. Once the configured inactivity period elapses, users are automatically signed out, helping organisations enforce access-time policies without manual intervention.
Record-change detection
When two users work on the same record simultaneously, the system now detects that the record has been modified by another user and notifies the current user via a toast notification. This prevents accidental overwriting of another colleague's changes.
Risk recalculation after mitigation [NG-3949]
After a mitigation measure is applied, the system now automatically recalculates and updates the residual risk score. Users see up-to-date risk levels immediately after saving a mitigation, removing the need to manually refresh or recalculate.
Last-editor visibility [NG-3869]
Records now display the name of the most recent editor, giving teams a clear audit trail of who last modified a record without having to consult the full activity log.
Assessment permalink language support [NG-3816]
Public assessment permalinks now carry the correct language from the start. Respondents who open an assessment link see the content in the intended language immediately, even before switching language manually.
Deleted assessment templates excluded from dropdowns [NG-1356]
Deleted assessment templates are no longer shown in template selection dropdowns. Attempting to save an answer to a question whose template has been deleted now produces a clear error message rather than a silent failure.
Improvements
- Filerskeepers integration – Credentials for the Filerskeepers archiving service are now managed independently of individual company records, simplifying multi-entity setups and making the connection more reliable in Retentions & Deletions. [NG-3411]
- SCIM 2.0 roles mapping – The roles-mapping screen for SCIM-based user provisioning has been updated with improved validation and the ability to save role assignments via the async select control. [NG-3602]
- IT Settings – General – Session-time fields now enforce maximum-length validation, and the save flow has been tightened to reflect the active/inactive session configuration correctly.
- IT Settings – General Notifications – The notifications edit screen has been refreshed with corrected field handling and updated translations.
- SAML / OAuth settings – A condition has been added to correctly handle users authenticated via OAuth or SAML, preventing incorrect redirects.
- Widget settings permissions – Permissions are now correctly applied to the widget settings area, ensuring only authorised users can modify widget configuration.
- Compliance settings – Sharing – The sharing screen now validates domains before saving and handles error responses more gracefully.
- DPIA – The "Identify the need for a DPIA" and "Description of processing" fields are now retrieved and displayed in the user's active interface language.
- TOMs – Empty-status TOMs created in earlier releases are corrected by a data migration; the implementation-status validation has also been tightened.
- Retentions & Deletions – Fixed handling of the Filerskeepers "is active" flag and corrected display issues on the index screen.
- Deadlines & Urgencies – Display and data-loading issues on the Deadlines & Urgencies screen have been resolved.
- Public assessment frontend – The assessment answering interface now refreshes translated content correctly when a respondent switches language mid-session.
