What's new

Technical and Organisational Measures (TOMs)

A new TOMs module is now available. You can create, view, and edit technical and organisational measures, link them to assessments and documents, and assign tasks directly from the detail view.

Assets

A dedicated Assets module has been added. Assets can be created and managed independently, and linked to ROPA processing activities and risk scenarios.

Personal Data

A new Personal Data module lets you manage personal data records centrally, including tagging with special categories. Personal data records can be linked to ROPA activities.

Categories

A new Categories module is available for managing data categories. Categories can be linked to ROPA processing activities.

Vendor IT Risk

A new Vendor IT Risk section provides a structured questionnaire-based assessment of IT risk for vendors. Results are presented with a progress indicator and individual question cards for a clear overview.

Risk Scenarios (DPIA)

Risk scenarios can now be created and managed within the DPIA module, giving DPOs and risk managers a structured way to document and evaluate risks as part of a Data Protection Impact Assessment.

Linked views across modules

ROPA processing activities now show dedicated linked-data tabs for Assets, TOMs, Personal Data, and Categories, giving a complete picture of each processing activity without leaving the record.

DPIA records now include linked tabs for Assessments, Tasks, and Assets.

TOMs records now include linked tabs for Assessments, Documents, and Tasks.

Maturity tracking

Maturity scores and a progress bar are now displayed on relevant detail screens, providing an at-a-glance indicator of how complete or mature a record is.

Improvements

  • ROPA – Create / Edit: The general form has been extended with additional fields and improved save logic to support the new linked data types.
  • DPIA – General: The creation and detail screens have been updated with additional fields, including a balancing section and a base risk detail view.
  • DPIA – Consultation Process: The consultation creation screen now includes linked Assessments and Documents tabs, and the general creation form has been updated.
  • Risk Settings – Process Risk: A new edit screen for process risk models is available, with an improved table view for existing models.
  • Risk Settings – Asset Risk: An edit screen for asset risk settings has been added.
  • User Management: The user creation screen now loads available roles from the central store, reducing inconsistencies. A back button has been added to the detail view.
  • Tags (Compliance Settings): Tag types have been updated to reflect the new module structure. The create and detail screens for tags have been revised accordingly.
  • Navigation: Menu links for the new modules (TOMs, Assets, Personal Data, Categories, Vendor IT Risk) have been added to the main navigation.
  • Back button: A consistent back button is now shown on all object detail screens, making navigation more intuitive.

  • User Management: Several fixes were applied to the user edit flow to resolve routing and view-loading issues.
  • Risk dashboard: Initialisation issues affecting the risk overview have been resolved.
