Overview
Release 26 introduces Workstreams as a new tag category that can be linked directly to Projects, making it easier to organise and filter your compliance work by business stream. The Applicable Laws settings now include a dedicated switch to activate GDPR, and the Active Directory configuration screen has been significantly redesigned for clarity. A number of improvements to Assessments, ROPA, and the user-assignment experience round out this release.

What's new
Workstreams tag category [3526]
A new tag type — Workstreams — is now available in the Compliance Settings tag management area. Workstreams tags can be attached to Projects and are displayed in a dedicated linked table on the Project detail view, giving compliance teams a straightforward way to group projects by business stream or workstream.
GDPR toggle in Applicable Laws [3470]
The Applicable Laws configuration screen (Compliance Settings) now contains an explicit on/off switch for GDPR. Organisations that need to activate or deactivate GDPR as a governing law can do so without manual workarounds.
Redesigned Active Directory integration screen
The Active Directory settings pages have been substantially reworked. The overview screen now presents connection status and synchronisation information more clearly, and the role-mapping screen has been restructured to make it easier to match Active Directory groups to DPMS roles.
Document upload improvements [3595]
File upload in the Documents section now handles files with identical names correctly — previously, uploading a file whose name already existed in the system would fail silently.
Improvements
- Assessments – General tab: The general information tab of an Assessment has been refactored into a dedicated view, reducing clutter and making the layout consistent with other module detail pages.
- Assessments – question options [3268]: It is now possible to delete individual answer options from assessment questions directly within the template editor. Pressing Enter while adding a value confirms it and returns the field to the ready-to-add state.
- Assessments – user assignment [3510]: The user-selection dropdown for assigning responsible persons now fetches the most recently active users first (up to 10 suggestions), speeding up the common case of reassigning to a colleague.
- Assessment frontend (guest/respondent view): The questionnaire layout and the thank-you screen shown after submission have been updated for improved readability.
- ROPA – Personal Data and Legal Basis detail screens: The categories, legal basis, and personal data detail views within ROPA have been refreshed. The extra intermediate "Categories" screen in the Legal Basic section has been removed, shortening the navigation path [3500].
- Projects – detail view: The Project detail screen now correctly renders the key fields and displays the new Workstreams linked table without layout issues [3597, 3600].
- Compliance Settings – Tags form: The tag creation and edit form now correctly handles the new Workstreams type and builds the correct API URL for each tag category.
- Status menu: The status-change menu used across multiple modules has been updated to improve visual consistency.
Fixes
- [3573] Fixed a bug where switching between the tabs (General, ROPA, DPIA, etc.) on certain detail screens would not activate the correct tab, leaving users on the wrong view.
- [3597] Corrected a wrong tag being applied to ROPA processes, which could cause processes to appear in incorrect filtered lists.
- [3600] Fixed an error that occurred when creating a new Project under certain configurations.
- [3500] Removed a redundant intermediate screen in the Personal Data section of Legal Basic, which previously required an unnecessary extra click to reach the data entry form.
