Overview

This release introduces a redesigned Retention & Deletion management area and adds AND/OR filter logic to list views across the platform. The Assessment Builder receives navigation and auto-update improvements, and several long-standing bugs in areas such as tags, email validation, and dashboard text are resolved.

Redesigned Retention & Deletion Module [NG-347]

The Retention & Deletion section has been given a fresh design. The layout, controls, and selection behaviour have been updated to make it easier to manage retention and deletion rules. Multi-select support has also been added so that multiple entries can be handled at once. [NG-155]

AND / OR Filter Logic in List Views [NG-600]

List views throughout the application now support combining filter criteria using AND as well as OR logic. A new toggle lets you choose whether all selected filter conditions must match (AND) or any of them (OR), giving you more precise control when searching large data sets.

Assessment Builder — Navigation & Auto-Update [NG-549, NG-695, NG-696]

Moving between questions in the Assessment Builder is now smoother. In addition, responses are saved automatically as you progress through an assessment, reducing the risk of losing work if you navigate away.

Permission Controls Expanded [NG-133]

Additional permission checks have been introduced for Retention & Deletion and related areas, ensuring that only authorised users can view or modify sensitive records.

Unsupported Screen Size Notice

A new message is shown when the application is opened on a screen that is too small to display all content correctly, guiding users to switch to a larger device or browser window. [NG-132]

Retention & Deletion — duplicate prevention [NG-541]: The system now prevents duplicate entries from being created, and a clear warning is shown if a duplicate is attempted.

Tags — duplicate prevention [NG-617]: Creating a tag with a name that already exists is now blocked, avoiding confusion caused by duplicate tag labels.

Filter search bar: The search and filter panel has been updated with a clearer layout and more reliable behaviour when combining multiple criteria.

Projects — chart and text layout [NG-308]: The project overview chart is better aligned and text no longer shifts to the left unexpectedly.

Dashboard — ROPA and risk text [NG-311]: Labels and descriptive text in the ROPA and risk dashboard widgets are now correct and consistent.

Language / translation button [NG-694]: The language-switching button now correctly reflects the currently active language.

Vendor form — email validation [NG-546]: Email address fields in the Vendor section now validate input properly and reject incorrectly formatted addresses.

Recipients notification tab: A dedicated tab for notification recipients has been added in the relevant settings area, making it easier to manage who receives automated messages.

Missing countries added [NG-622]: Several countries that were previously absent from country selection lists have been added.

Risk Owner name sync [NG-270]: When a user's name is updated, the Risk Owner name displayed on linked assets is now updated automatically.

Fixes

[NG-614] An incorrect or missing information message on the dashboard has been corrected.

[NG-618] Importing tags for Project Domains, Project Roles, and Assessment Statuses failed silently; the correct import routes are now in use.

[NG-686] A bug affecting multi-select fields caused incorrect behaviour when selecting multiple items; this is now resolved.

[NG-566] Custom options in select fields could not be filtered correctly; filtering now works as expected.

[NG-698] A search error in the company look-up was caused by extra whitespace; this has been corrected.

[NG-253] Certain OAuth authentication errors were not handled gracefully, sometimes leaving users in an uncertain state; error handling has been improved and users are now logged out cleanly when needed.
