New Release

Version: 214
Release Date: 02.12.2024 19:00 CET

Overview

This release brings two notable additions: the Time Machine (version history) is now available on Vendor records, and Tasks now display a Linked Elements section showing related records across the system. Several existing workflows have also been improved, including more reliable filter behaviour, corrected tag imports, and a fix for the assessment permalink.

What's new

Time Machine for Vendors [NG-2943]

The Time Machine — which lets you browse the full change history of a record — is now enabled on Vendor detail pages. You can use it the same way you already do on other record types: open the history panel to see what changed, when, and by whom.

Linked Elements on Tasks

Task detail pages now include a Linked Elements section, giving you a consolidated view of all records (such as ROPA entries, assets, and other objects) connected to a given task. This makes it easier to understand the full context of a task without navigating away.

Improvements

  • Vendors – Responsible Person: It is now possible to set a responsible person directly within a Vendor record.
  • Select All – tag display: When using "Select All" in list views, the element name shown in tag-related dialogs is now displayed correctly instead of showing a generic placeholder.
  • Tag import: Importing tags via JSON now correctly skips tags that already exist and re-enables any previously deleted tags rather than creating duplicates.
  • Risk Scenarios table: Risk scenarios are now sorted consistently by table order.
  • Assessments: The assessment permalink now loads risk settings correctly, resolving an issue where the permalink view could fail to display assessment data.

Fixes

  • Filter duplication [NG-2010]: Fixed an issue where double-clicking a filter option with a large number of records caused duplicate filter entries to appear.
  • Tag record count [NG-2883]: Resolved a problem where selecting all records produced an incorrect record count in tag-related operations.
  • Select All – tag naming [NG-2882]: The name shown when tagging a "Select All" selection now reflects the actual element name.
  • Assessment switcher [NG-2895]: Switcher states in assessments now reset correctly when a validation error occurs, preventing the UI from showing an inconsistent state.
  • Dataflow UUID in shared records [NG-2854]: The internal dataflow UUID is no longer exposed in shared record views.
