What's new

Risk Scenario module

A dedicated Risk Scenario section is now available in the navigation. You can create and manage risk scenarios, define control gaps, and link scenarios directly to DPIAs and other records. Each scenario supports its own general information form and a control-gaps tab, giving you a structured way to document and track data-protection risks.

DPIA – Control Gaps tab

The DPIA detail view now includes a Control Gaps tab, allowing you to record and review gaps between existing controls and required measures directly within a DPIA record.

DPIA – linked Risk Scenarios

Risk Scenarios can now be linked to a DPIA from within the DPIA detail screen, replacing the previous inline risk-creation approach with a cleaner linked-objects table.

Assessments – Notifications

A new Notifications tab is available on Assessment records. You can configure which recipients should receive notifications and manage notification settings without leaving the Assessment screen.

Assessments – Maturity Goals

The Maturity section of Assessments has been extended with maturity goal tracking and an improved question-by-question maturity row view, making it easier to see progress against each control.

Password reset e-mail for new users

When a new user account is created, the system now automatically sends a password-reset e-mail to that user, so they can set their own credentials without administrator intervention.

Improvements

  • Status handling (all modules): Statuses for ROPA, DPIA, TOMs, Assets, Vendors, Assessments, Policies & Documents, Legitimate Interest, Tasks, Categories, and DCP records are now loaded centrally at login and shared across the application, ensuring consistent status lists everywhere.
  • User Management – editing roles and names: Editing an existing user's roles and display name now saves reliably. The e-mail address field is correctly locked when editing an existing account to prevent accidental changes.
  • User Management – delete action: The delete action for user accounts has been stabilised.
  • Assessments – Recipients tab: The Recipients view has been redesigned for clarity, making it easier to add and review assessment recipients.
  • Assessments – Template tab: The template selection and configuration screen has been updated for improved usability.
  • Organisational Units: The hierarchy form and tree placeholder have been updated to resolve display and navigation issues.
  • DPIA – general creation form: The general creation step for DPIAs has been revised to streamline the initial setup flow.
  • Form error handling: Validation errors returned by the server are now surfaced consistently in forms across the application, so you can see exactly which fields need attention without the page silently failing.
  • Linked-objects tables: Linked tables (e.g. tasks linked to DPIAs or ROPAs) now display and behave more reliably, including correct translation of table headers.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where certain status values could be set to an invalid state, causing records to appear incorrectly in lists. [NG-2917]
  • Fixed uncontrolled-input warnings in several forms that could cause entered values to be lost on re-render.
  • Fixed the unique name validation on record updates, which was incorrectly rejecting valid names when saving an existing record. [NG-2934]
  • Fixed role-assignment issues in User Management that prevented multiple roles from being saved correctly when updating a user. [NG-2946]
  • Fixed display and data issues in the DPIA risk area that caused errors when opening or saving DPIA records. [NG-2933]
  • Fixed tag-related errors that could prevent saving records in modules that use tags.
