What's new

Assessment Permalinks can now be deactivated. When a permalink is deactivated, respondents will see a dedicated closing message, clearly communicating that the link is no longer active. This gives administrators greater control over the lifecycle of externally shared assessment links.

Flexible Retention Period Values [NG-3644]

The period field in the Retentions & Deletions configuration now supports non-numeric value types. This allows organizations to define retention periods in formats received from integrated systems (such as FilersKeeper) that go beyond simple numeric entries, improving compatibility with external data sources.

Improvements

  • Assessment Permalinks – General settings: The general settings panel for permalinks has been updated with a cleaner layout and improved validation to prevent selecting incompatible options.
  • Retentions & Deletions – Period field: The creation form now dynamically switches between input modes depending on the type of retention value, making it easier to enter the correct format for each record.
  • Compliance Settings menu: The Compliance Settings menu item is now only shown when the relevant configuration exists, keeping the navigation tidy for organizations that have not yet enabled this area.
  • Assessment – Reviewer panel: Translation strings in the Reviewer panel have been refined for clarity across all supported languages.
  • Default sorting: List views now apply a consistent default sort order, making it easier to orient yourself when opening a module for the first time.

Fixes

  • Assessment template sections [NG-3801]: Stale question references in assessment template sections are now cleaned up correctly, preventing broken references from appearing in the template editor.
  • Retention record deletion: A bug that caused errors when deleting certain retention records has been resolved.
  • Asset error handling [NG-3837]: An issue that caused errors when working with assets has been fixed.
  • Navigation sub-menu active state: The active item highlight in the side navigation sub-menu was sometimes calculated incorrectly — this has been corrected.

Known issues

No known issues.
