Process Risk Overview
Introduction
The Process Risk Overview page in the Data Protection Risk section under Manage provides a central view to manage all process risks in your processing activities efficiently. You can view risks across departments, prioritize them, and take targeted actions. This ensures you stay on top of things and address the most urgent matters first.
Overview
Processing activities are sorted by department. In the top right corner of the page, you'll find a toggle switch allowing you to sort within a department by current risk or alphabetically by name. Right next to it, you have direct access to the risk model settings, where you can view or adjust them.
Process risks are displayed in a table view with three primary columns.
The first column shows the name of the department and indicates how many processing activities have a high risk, how many have reached their target, and how many are still undefined.
In the second column, you will find the processing activities, with their risk levels color-coded.
- Red: Very High Risk
- Orange: High Risk
- Yellow: Medium Risk
- Mint: Low Risk
- Blue: Very Low Risk
- Gray: Undefined Risk
Current Risk vs. Target Risk
On the far right are two columns: Current Risk and Target Risk.
The design provides clear guidance:
- Achieved targets are highlighted in black and show a checkmark.
- An arrow to gray-highlighted targets indicates that action is required.
You can adjust the target risk directly in this view. Click on it and select a new target from the dropdown list.
