Release 4 introduces a new ROPA Risk dashboard and expands the Assessment Templates module with import functionality and improved template selection, alongside several usability improvements across the platform.

Overview

This release adds a dedicated Risk view within the ROPA area, giving compliance teams an at-a-glance overview of risk levels across their records of processing activities. Assessment Templates have been extended with import capability and a clearer template-selection flow. Several smaller improvements and fixes round out the release.

What's new

ROPA Risk Dashboard [NG-2924]

A new ROPA Risk section is now available in the main navigation. It provides a visual dashboard — including progress bars and summary cards — that shows the current risk posture across your processing activities at a glance, without needing to open individual ROPA records.

Assessment Template Import [NG-2933]

Assessment Templates can now be imported directly from the template management screen. This makes it faster to reuse or migrate templates across organisations or instances without manual re-entry.

Assessment Template Linking

Templates can now be linked to one another, enabling structured relationships between assessment templates for more complex compliance workflows.

Improvements

  • Login / Authentication screen — The login page is now fully translated and displays localised messages and error notifications correctly across all supported languages.
  • Navigation tabs — Switching between tabs in multi-tab views now reliably highlights the correct active tab and restores the first item in a menu to its selected state when navigating back.
  • Assessment Template selection — A dedicated template-selection component has been introduced, making it clearer which template is associated with an assessment during creation.
  • Policies & Documents — status display — The creation and detail views for Policies & Documents now show all possible status values, giving a complete picture of a record's lifecycle.
  • ROPA cards styling — Visual styling of ROPA record cards has been refreshed for improved readability.

Fixes

  • Duplicate records [NG-2914] — A validation rule has been added to enforce unique names across several modules (ROPA, Assets, Vendors, DPIAs, and others), preventing duplicate records from being created unintentionally.
  • Navigation element click handling [NG-2890] — Clicking on certain navigation elements that were previously unresponsive now correctly triggers the expected action.
