Release Date: 12.05.2025 19:00 CET
Overview
This release delivers a brand-new in-app notification centre, giving users real-time alerts for assignments, changes, and other relevant events. What's new
In-app Notification Centre
A notification bell icon now appears in the application header. Clicking it opens a popover listing your most recent notifications, with infinite scroll to load older items. Notifications are triggered by events such as being assigned as the responsible person for a record, changes to linked elements, and user-related actions. You will not receive a notification for actions you perform yourself.
Expanded Cross-company Sharing
The sharing framework has been extended to cover additional record types:
- DPIA records can now be shared between companies, including their linked tasks and assessments.
- Documents & Policies can now be shared with partner organisations.
- Data Collection Points (DCP) can now be shared.
- Risk Scenarios and related content (implemented TOMs, suggested TOMs, standards) are now included when sharing Risk records.
Applicable regulations are handled correctly when a shared record's scope is updated.
Change Tracking for Shared Objects [NG-1210]
When a shared record is updated by the originating organisation, the receiving organisation can now see a clear summary of what has changed in the linked elements. A dedicated view highlights additions, modifications, and removals so reviewers can quickly understand what needs their attention.
Improvements
- Session time-out setting — Administrators can now configure the default inactivity log-out time directly in IT Settings → General, giving organisations more control over session security.
- Tasks — default tab — The Tasks index view now opens on the "In Progress" tab by default, reducing the number of clicks needed to reach active work.
- Tasks — draft status — Tasks with a draft status are now surfaced on the Dashboard task widget, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Notifications — smart suppression — The system will not generate a notification when the person performing an action and the new responsible person are the same user, avoiding unnecessary noise.
- Sharing filter [NG-1214] — Filters on shared-object views have been refined, including improved filtering by parent identifier, so large sharing lists are easier to navigate.
- AI processing indicator — While the AI analysis is running, the UUID-conflict alert is suppressed to avoid misleading warnings during processing.
- Organisational Units — Organisational unit information is now correctly included when mapping shared record data.
- Color Picker — The color picker component used in group and category management has been refreshed for a cleaner experience.
Fixes
- Notifications popover — Fixed a null-reference error that could cause the notifications panel to fail to open. [NG-4183]
- DPIA sharing — Resolved several issues in the sharing flow for DPIA records that could result in incomplete data being transferred. [NG-3453]
- Applicable regulations — Fixed a bug where applicable regulations on shared records were not evaluated correctly after an update. [NG-3825]
- Duplicate elements in sharing — Prevented linked elements from being duplicated when a shared record was saved more than once. [NG-3822]
- Loading screen — Fixed a blue/blank-screen issue that could occur during certain DSR and detail-page transitions.
- Tooltip translations — Corrected untranslated tooltip text appearing in several places.
- Date display — Fixed inconsistent date formatting in linked-element date fields.
- Rich-text editor — Saving bold and other formatted text now works correctly; HTML is rendered properly when displaying saved content.
