Release 72 introduces audience management improvements, enhanced company and user management, and a range of fixes across the ROPA, Legitimate Interest, and Risk areas.

Overview

Release 72 brings meaningful improvements to how permissions and audiences are managed across the platform, refines the company selection experience, and corrects several user-visible issues in the ROPA, Legitimate Interest, and Risk modules. Translation updates have also been applied across all supported languages.

Audience Management

A dedicated audience management area is now available in Settings. Administrators can create and edit audiences, assign read and write permissions, and associate audiences with users — giving organisations finer control over who can view or modify specific records.

Country Field in Company List

Companies now display a country field in the company list, making it easier to distinguish between entities operating in different regions.

Affected Persons in ROPA

The ROPA record now surfaces Affected Persons data directly in the main table view, so this information is visible without needing to open each individual record.

Improvements

Company dropdown — Newly created companies are added to the dropdown immediately, without requiring a page reload. Duplicate entries are no longer shown, and spacing issues in the dropdown have been resolved.

Risk Settings — The Risk Settings screen has been updated with additional options and a more consistent layout.

ROPA Risk — Process risks linked to ROPA records are now sorted by creation date, providing a more predictable display order.

Manage Access — The Manage Access screen now correctly reflects the permissions stored for each element, including proper handling of read and write access levels.

System Manager role — The System Manager role is now hidden from role selection menus for users who do not have Super Admin privileges, reducing confusion.

Tags — Tag type labels are now translated and displayed correctly across all supported languages.

Search — Search functionality has been refined for more reliable results across modules.

Applicable Laws (Compliance Settings) — Minor display improvements to the Applicable Laws editing screen.

Fixes

Legitimate Interest — Classifications were not appearing in the table view; this has been corrected. [NG-4392]

Legitimate Interest — A bug affecting the Legitimate Interest area has been resolved. [NG-4522]

Tasks — Tag types on tasks were displaying incorrectly; this has been fixed.

Loading indicator — A permanent loading/waiting indicator that appeared in certain screens no longer gets stuck. [NG-4045]

Company creation — An error message when a company already exists is now correctly translated in all supported languages. [NG-4504]

Permissions — An issue where permissions were not being saved or evaluated correctly for certain elements has been resolved. [NG-4463]

Group search — A bug affecting group search behaviour has been fixed. [NG-4507]
