Release 338 introduces a new Questionnaires Settings area, significant enhancements to the Assessment frontend experience, and improvements to how shared records and linked objects are managed across the platform.

Overview

This release adds a dedicated Questionnaires Settings section under General Settings, allowing administrators to configure questionnaire templates centrally. The Assessment frontend has received a substantial overhaul — including improved risk evaluation, maturity level handling, free-text fields, and contact details display. Several fixes address linking and sharing behaviour across ROPA and other record types.

Questionnaires Settings [NG-5550]

A new Questionnaires section is now available under General Settings. Administrators can create, edit, and manage questionnaire configurations from a dedicated index and edit view, giving central control over how questionnaires are set up across the platform.

Assessment Frontend — Contact Details Section [NG-5552]

The assessment frontend now includes an optional Contact Details section. When enabled, respondents can view or provide contact information directly within the assessment form.

Assessment Frontend — Dynamic Input Fields [NG-5553]

The frontend questionnaire now supports dynamic input fields, allowing certain question types to adapt based on respondent input or configuration, making forms more flexible and context-sensitive.

Assessment Response Handling [NG-5554]

Assessment responses can now be evaluated and managed more granularly. Validation for optional and mandatory questions has been improved, and groups of questions are handled more consistently throughout the response flow.

Workflow Email Layout [NG-5689]

Workflow notification emails now use an updated layout template, providing a more consistent and professional appearance for automated email communications sent from the platform.

Assessment Frontend — Risk Evaluation: The risk evaluation section within the assessment frontend has been redesigned with clearer likelihood/damage selection, updated risk result display, and more reliable TOM risk status handling. [NG-5551]

Assessment Frontend — Maturity Level: The maturity level component within assessments has been improved for clearer display and more accurate scoring.

Assessment Frontend — Question Preview: The question preview panel has been updated with a refreshed layout and more accurate rendering of question types, including single-option and free-text questions. [NG-5555]

Assessment Frontend — Menu and Progress: The side menu and progress bar in the frontend assessment have been updated to reflect question grouping and completion status more accurately.

Assessment General: The assessments general view now displays additional context and supports the new questionnaire settings integration. [NG-5610]

ROPA — Assessments Tab: The assessments tab within ROPA record detail has been expanded to show richer assessment information and support linking/unlinking actions more clearly.

Shared Records — Re-linking: Objects that were previously unlinked from a shared record can now be re-linked. An "unlinked by" attribution is also tracked to improve audit traceability.

Linked Objects Table: The linked objects table across record types has been updated to reflect sharing and linking state changes more reliably.

Confirmation Modal: The confirmation modal used across the platform has been extended to support additional action types required by the new sharing and re-linking flows.

General Action Buttons: Action buttons in record detail views have been updated to accommodate new permissions and sharing-related actions.

Text Translation Component: The translation interface now includes additional button controls for managing translations more efficiently.

Regulations (SHA): Internal handling of regulation sharing has been updated to resolve conflicts and improve stability. [NG-5604]

Translations: New and updated translation strings have been added across all supported languages to cover new features in this release.

[NG-5731] Fixed an issue where the risk result was not calculated or displayed correctly in certain assessment configurations.

[NG-5732] Fixed a colour rendering issue in the new design's blue bar side element within assessments.

[NG-5700] Fixed a permalink issue affecting navigation to shared or linked records.

[NG-5678] Fixed an error with email address handling in certain notification flows.

[NG-5701] Fixed an issue with priority display in record lists.

[NG-5639] Resolved an error affecting record creation in specific configurations.

[NG-5651] Fixed a preview rendering issue for certain question types.

[NG-5609] Fixed contact-related data not saving correctly in some cases.

Fixed an issue where the popup name was not displayed correctly in certain dialogs.

Fixed optional/mandatory question validation not being enforced consistently in the assessment frontend.

Fixed the FreeTextField component not rendering or submitting values correctly in some question configurations.

Fixed a language selection issue in the assessment frontend that could cause incorrect content to be shown.
