What's new
Ecuadorian Legal Basis [NG-723]
Legal basis entries specific to Ecuadorian data-protection legislation are now available as selectable options in the relevant dropdowns across the platform. Organizations operating under the Ecuadorian DPA framework can assign these bases directly.
Document & Policy Viewer [NG-531, NG-360]
A dedicated document-rendering component has been added to the Documents & Policies section. Documents are now displayed from newest to oldest, history and the latest version appear in the same column, and only the most recent entry can be deleted from the history list. A copy button has been added alongside the link button, and the link display area no longer shows a redundant input-style border.
Tags Screen: Create & Import Buttons [NG-47]
The Tags settings screen now shows a Create button and an Import button in the toolbar, making it consistent with other list screens throughout the application.
Reports: Status Tracking [NG-146]
Individual reports now surface warning indicators during generation, giving compliance officers clearer feedback on the status of a report while it is being built.
Improvements
- International Standards dropdown [NG-711] – The standard name is now always shown in the account's configured default language instead of switching unexpectedly.
- International Standards dropdown [NG-623] – The dropdown now updates correctly when the selected standard is changed, removing stale entries.
- Vendor Risk – Risk-colour indicators on vendor records now reflect the correct colour based on complete validation of all relevant fields, including controller information.
- Vendor form – Country is now included as a filter criterion in the sharing configuration for vendors.
- Linked Elements tab [NG-710] – Previously missing element types are now shown in the Linked Elements tab on detail pages.
- Linked Elements search [NG-731] – Search within linked-element tables now correctly limits results to values present in the linked records, preventing unrelated items from appearing.
- Documents & Policies – links – The character limit displayed for document links has been extended so that long URLs are no longer truncated at lower screen resolutions.
- Applicable Laws – The formatting of applicable laws in compliance settings has been standardised.
- Date formatting [NG-163] – Date values across the platform are now presented in a consistent format.
- Assessment Template translations [NG-548] – Section and question translations in assessment templates are now processed and stored more reliably, resolving cases where translated content was not saved correctly.
- ROPA – Legal Basis editing – Editing a linked legal basis within a ROPA record no longer loses the association after saving.
- Search bar design [NG-730] – A visual layout issue affecting the search bar styling has been corrected.
- Selectable tables – The "Select all" option is now consistently visible in selectable table components.
Fixes
- [NG-547] Missing values were not shown in the Linked Elements tab; all expected element types now appear correctly.
- [NG-172] Search in linked tables returned items that were not actually associated with the record; results are now correctly filtered to linked values only.
- [NG-531] An issue in the Documents & Policies area caused incorrect behaviour when uploading or displaying documents; this has been resolved.
- [NG-548] Translation data for assessment-template sections and questions was not always saved; the underlying process has been corrected.
- [NG-730] A design defect in the search component caused visual misalignment; padding has been corrected to prevent data from being cut off.
