What's new

Data Incidents module [NG-1083]

A dedicated Incidents section is now available in the navigation menu. You can:

  • Create and manage data incident records, including general details and log entries.
  • Link related Tasks and Assessments directly to an incident for full traceability.
  • View an incident's history through an integrated Log tab.
  • Download incident-related information as part of your documentation workflow.

Skip button in Assessments [NG-1200]

Assessment questionnaires now include a Skip button, enabling respondents to move past a question when it is not applicable. The button is shown or hidden based on intelligent validation that checks whether skipping is permitted for the current question.

Linked elements for Vendors [NG-1187]

Vendors now support the full linked-elements panel, letting you associate assets, processing activities, and other records directly with a vendor entry.

Custom linked element names restricted [NG-1213]

When creating custom linked-element configurations, an empty string is no longer accepted as a name. A clear validation message is shown if you attempt to save without a valid name.

Reporting date filter with hours [NG-1228]

The reporting date filter now includes the time of day (hour), giving you finer control when filtering records by date and time.

Improvements

  • ROPA – Change tracking [NG-1212]: The change-tracking view for ROPA records has been redesigned for clarity. Individual change cards now display more contextual information and the layout is easier to scan.
  • Shared objects – linked elements: The table of linked elements visible to recipients of a shared record has been updated to show the correct subset of linked items.
  • Assessments – total time calculation [NG-1226]: A calculation error affecting the total time display in assessments has been corrected.
  • Personal data – tag deletion [NG-1221]: Tags can now be removed from personal data records without triggering unexpected errors.
  • Personal data – sharing [NG-1247]: An issue that caused inconsistencies when sharing personal data records has been resolved.
  • Tasks – linked project editing [NG-354]: Editing a task that has one or more linked projects now works correctly.
  • Change download [NG-1208 / NG-1229]: The "force-push" action on shared records has been replaced with a Download changes button, providing a clearer and more consistent export experience for linked elements.
  • Saving with version token [NG-1223]: Records are now saved using a version identifier, reducing the risk of conflicting concurrent edits.
  • Log timestamps: Activity logs across the platform now display the hour in addition to the date, making audit trails more precise.

Fixes

  • Assets – unable to link [NG-1246]: Assets could not be linked to certain records; this has been fixed.
  • Shared linked elements [NG-1236]: Linked elements on shared records were not always displayed correctly; the display logic has been corrected.
  • Incidents – delete [NG-1083]: Deleting incident records now works as expected without leaving orphaned data.
  • Personal data – map class [NG-1221]: An issue with personal data entries of type MAP_CLASS has been resolved.
  • Validation messages: Several missing or incorrect validation messages (e.g. for empty fields in configuration screens) have been added or corrected.
