Release 22 brings improvements to risk scenario linking, legitimate interest assessments, policy creation, and automatic application refresh when a new version is deployed.

Overview

This release delivers several usability improvements across the DPMS, including enhanced linking between risk scenarios and DPIAs/assets, refined filtering of legal bases and categories by applicable law, and better default values when creating policies. The application will now also automatically prompt users to reload when a new version becomes available.

What's new

Automatic application refresh on new version

The system now detects when a new version of the application has been deployed and notifies users to reload the page. This ensures that all users are always working on the latest version without needing to manually clear their browser cache or refresh.

Tags displayed by language

Tags throughout the application are now shown in the user's selected interface language, making it easier for multilingual teams to work consistently within their preferred language.

Improvements

  • Risk Scenarios – Linking: Risk scenarios can now be linked directly to assets and DPIAs, making it easier to trace risks across your compliance records.
  • Legitimate Interest Assessments: The "Affected Persons" section is now available within the General tab of Legitimate Interest assessments, giving a more complete overview on a single screen.
  • Policies & Documents – Creation: Default values are now pre-filled when creating new policies, reducing manual input and the chance of omissions.
  • Legal Basis & Categories – Filtering: Legal bases and data categories are now filtered according to the selected applicable law, so only relevant options are shown during record creation and editing.
  • Filers & Keepers: The edit screen has been revised for clearer layout and improved usability.
  • DPIA & Asset creation: Creation forms have been updated for improved consistency and reliability.
  • Help widget (IT Settings): The screen for activating the integrated help widget has been revised and improved.
  • General stability: Various screens (Vendor detail, TOM detail, Task detail, Retention & Deletion, ROPA) have received consistency and display improvements, including better handling of empty fields.
