Release 109 (26.10.2023)

Release 109 brings several user-facing improvements across the DPMS, including a deadline field for tasks, fixes to risk calculations and tag management, and a "remember last tab" behaviour throughout the application.

Overview

This release introduces a deadline field for tasks, corrects risk calculation errors in the ROPA and asset risk areas, and fixes an issue where deleted tags were still appearing in selection lists. It also adds a quality-of-life improvement that remembers which tab you were last on when navigating between screens.

Task deadlines [NG-263]

Tasks now have a dedicated deadline field. You can set and validate a due date when creating or editing a task, giving teams a clearer picture of time-sensitive obligations.

Remember last active tab

When you navigate away from a detail screen and return to it, the application now automatically reopens the tab you were last viewing. This applies across assets, TOMs, risk scenarios, and other multi-tab detail screens, saving you from having to click back to the right section each time.

Improvements

Risk settings – asset & process risk models: Default threshold values in the risk mitigation settings have been corrected to match the intended configuration, ensuring newly created risk models start with accurate baselines. [NG-182]

Documents & policies – approval flow: The approval and delete actions on document entries behave more reliably, with conditional link logic now applied correctly. [NG-249]

Risk scenario – TOMs tab: The TOMs selection panel within risk scenarios has been significantly reworked, improving layout and usability when assigning technical and organisational measures.

ROPA – risk calculation: Corrected the underlying calculation so that risk scores displayed in the Record of Processing Activities accurately reflect the configured risk model. [NG-182]

Tags: Deleted tags no longer appear in tag selection dropdowns and filter lists across the application. [NG-236]

Dashboard: Resolved a console warning about duplicate list keys that could cause intermittent rendering glitches in dashboard widgets. [NG-5193 / 5193]

International Standards: Updated the reference data file for international standards frameworks.

Fixes

[NG-268] Resolved an error that occurred when accessing certain properties on records, preventing screens from loading correctly in specific situations.

[NG-220] Fixed a missing "read" flag for audience records, which caused audience visibility to be reported incorrectly.

[NG-236] Tag deletion now correctly filters out removed tags so they no longer reappear in lists.

[NG-182] ROPA risk scores were being calculated with incorrect logic; this has been corrected.

[NG-87] Fixed a design/layout issue in the Risk Settings screen.

[NG-231] Corrected a visual design inconsistency affecting several detail screens.
