Overview
Release 7 is a substantial update that introduces several brand-new areas of the application alongside meaningful improvements to existing modules. Key highlights include a new Retentions & Deletions register, a standalone external assessment questionnaire for recipients, and a dedicated Legal Basis management section. Existing areas such as ROPA, Assets, TOMs, Vendor Risk, and the Dashboard have also been significantly extended.

What's new
Retentions & Deletions Register
A dedicated register for retention and deletion rules is now available. You can create and manage records with fields for type, duration, period, and legal reference, and link them directly to assessments, assets, and tasks.
External Assessment Frontend
External recipients can now complete assigned assessments through a dedicated, publicly accessible questionnaire page — no login required. The form guides respondents through sections and questions, collects answers, and submits them back to the platform.
Assessment Responses
A new responses management area is available inside each assessment. Assessors can review submitted responses in detail, navigate answers by section, evaluate individual questions, and return a response to evaluation state if revisions are needed. A maturity score is now calculated from responses. [#2919, #2933]
Legal Basis Management
A new Legal Basis module allows you to create, view, and manage legal basis entries independently. These can be linked to ROPA records and carry translated values for special categories and legal basis types.
Applicable Laws & Regulations
A new Applicable Laws component is available across relevant records, showing which regulations apply based on the configuration of the record. The display logic automatically determines applicable regulations and presents them in a consistent, readable format.
Development Language Mode (IT Settings)
Administrators can now enable a development language mode in IT Settings, making it easier to identify and review translation keys across the interface. [NG-2950]
"What To Do" and Recent Activities on Dashboard
The home screen now displays a "What To Do" section and a Recent Activities feed, giving users immediate visibility into pending actions and the latest changes across the platform. [#2886]
Norwegian Language Added
Norwegian (Bokmål) is now available as an interface language, joining the existing languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese).
Improvements
- ROPA – Categories tab: The categories section has been redesigned with clearer layout, improved display of special categories and legal basis information, and better handling of default and database values.
- ROPA – Legal Basis tab: A new dedicated Legal Basis tab is now visible in the ROPA detail view, showing linked legal basis records with their relevant attributes.
- ROPA – TOMs tab: The TOMs section in ROPA now supports nested TOMs and displays linked assets in a structured table.
- ROPA – Assets tab: Assets linked to a ROPA record are now shown in their own structured linked table.
- ROPA – Purpose of Processing: The purpose of processing section has been updated with improved data handling and display.
- ROPA – General creation form: The responsible person selector has been improved; the current user is now pre-selected automatically when creating a new ROPA record. [#2978]
- Assets: A new Maturity tab has been added to the Asset detail view. Assets can now be linked to risk scenarios and their controls, visible in dedicated linked tables.
- TOMs: Assets can now be linked to TOM records and are shown in a dedicated linked assets table within the TOM detail view.
- Vendor Risk: Risk scenarios and their associated controls are now visible as linked tables within Vendor and Vendor IT Risk records. The assessment link and resend functionality have been improved. [#2969]
- Assessments: The assessment creation and detail screens have been improved, including better template selection, a cleaner maturity levels view, and an updated notifications and recipients section. The responsible person dropdown now correctly shows names. [#2956, #2978]
- DPIA: Risk scenario controls are now available as a linked table within DPIA records.
- Data Collection Points: Minor improvements to the general creation form and index view.
- Policies & Documents: Display and navigation improvements to the index and detail screens.
- Organisational Units: The edit form has been improved, including a fix for the OU edit screen.
- User Management: Fixes for saving users with more than one role and correcting permission assignment flows. [#2956, #2957]
- Tags: Fixed an issue where the tag list was not displayed correctly in certain contexts. [#2967]
- Password Reset: The password reset page now correctly clears the hash key after use, and the company logo is displayed on the reset page.
- Selectable Table: The selectable table component now supports a custom URL, improving flexibility when linking objects across modules.
- Linked Objects Table: The linked objects table now shows more attributes (e.g. real object names, IDs) and renders assessments, assets, and tasks correctly.
- Status Questionnaire: The questionnaire interface for status-based workflows has been updated with a toggle to show or hide empty questions, and individual question status updates have been improved.
- Translation / Localisation: Extensive additions and corrections to German, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese translations across all new and existing modules.

- [#2975] Font sizes for titles are now consistent across applicable laws and related screens.
- [#2973] Corrected a wrong label appearing in certain form fields.
- [#2971] Fixed a design issue on a detail screen.
- [#2967] Fixed the tag list not appearing correctly in dropdowns.
- [#2948] Navigating to a document detail no longer causes an unintended redirect when selecting values from enumerations.
- [#2886] Fixed the font size on the home screen.
- ROPA algorithm: Corrected a logic bug in the applicable regulation algorithm that caused incorrect results in certain configurations.
- Dashboard: Fixed missing permissions for company-level dashboard views.
- Assessments: Fixed a bug with the SimpleListBox component inside assessments. Fixed save behaviour when linked assessments were deselected.
- Maturity Goals: Fixed an issue on the Maturity Goals screen.
- ROPA responsible person: Fixed a bug where the responsible person was not saved correctly in ROPA.
