What's new
Risk Evaluation with Heatmap Visualisation [NG-4978, NG-5154]
A fully redesigned Risk Evaluation view is now available within assessments. You can select likelihood and damage values, and the system automatically calculates and displays the resulting risk level using a colour-coded heatmap chart. The heatmap gives an at-a-glance overview of where risks fall on the probability/impact matrix.
Risk Results Screen [NG-5154, NG-5155]
A new dedicated Risk Results screen has been added to the assessment response flow. After completing a risk evaluation, respondents and reviewers can view a structured summary of all evaluated risks, including scores and priority levels, in one place.
Risk Assessment for Standards, DPIA, and Projects [NG-5032, NG-5164]
Risk assessment flows are now available within DPIA and Project objects. Standards with an asset risk model can now be linked directly to risk scenarios, enabling a more integrated approach to risk management across these areas.
Workflow Triggering and Notifications [NG-5330, NG-5390, NG-5391]
Workflows can now be triggered directly from within the DPMS and will generate in-app notifications upon completion or relevant status changes. Variable name validation has also been added: variable names in workflow configurations must not begin with a number.
Direct Review Link in Workflow Notifications [NG-5384]
Workflow notification messages now include a direct link that takes the recipient straight to the relevant review screen, reducing the number of steps needed to act on a workflow notification.
Improvements
- Assessment Templates – Error handling during template creation and editing has been significantly improved, with clearer and more specific validation messages displayed to the user [NG-5391].
- Assessment Question Options – The option to add and configure question options has been refined for a smoother editing experience.
- Workflow Required Actions – All object detail pages (Assets, ROPA, Vendors, TOMs, Tasks, Incidents, Policies & Documents, DPIA, Data Subject Requests, Meetings & Activities, Retentions & Deletions) now use a single unified Required Action layout, ensuring a consistent experience when a workflow step requires your attention.
- Assessment Recipients – The permalink and standard assessment recipient components have been updated for improved usability when managing who receives an assessment.
- Vendor Linked Assessments – The Assessments tab within Vendor detail pages now displays linked assessments more reliably [NG-5386].
- Organisational Units Status – The system now exposes status information for organisational units, supporting more accurate reporting.
- Abbreviation Validation – Duplicate abbreviation errors are now all reported together rather than one at a time, so you can correct all conflicts in a single step.
Fixes
- Assessment Template workflows – Fixed a null-reference error that occurred when fetching workflows for an assessment template that had no template model assigned [NG-5391].
- Risk scenario colour scale – The colour scale used in risk scenario displays now renders correctly across all configured priority levels [NG-5155].
- Workflow endpoint routing – Corrected an issue where workflow requests were directed to incorrect endpoint paths, causing actions not to trigger as expected [NG-5330].
- Assessment response editing – Fixed issues in the response main edit screen that prevented certain answers from being saved correctly [NG-5391].
- Navigation for managed-by column – Fixed an issue where clicking on the "Managed by" column in list views did not navigate to the correct detail page.
