Overview

This release adds a new Duplicate action for ROPA records, making it faster to create similar processing activities. Role management has been extended with new permission controls, and the tag search across the platform now supports infinite scroll for large tag lists. Several workflow date issues have also been corrected in the background.

What's new

Duplicate ROPA Records [NG-5948]

You can now duplicate an existing record in the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA). A new Duplicate button appears in the record's action menu, allowing you to create a copy of a processing activity as a starting point — saving time when activities share a similar structure.

Permissions for Linked Elements [NG-4977]

Administrators can now configure whether a role is allowed to act on elements that are linked to other objects. A new switch in the role settings controls this behaviour, giving compliance teams finer-grained access control over linked data.

Tag Search with Infinite Scroll [NG-4997]

The tag selection field throughout the platform now loads tags progressively as you scroll, rather than loading all tags at once. This improves performance and usability when your organisation has a large number of tags defined.

Improvements

• Role management — The roles configuration screen has been updated with additional permission toggles, including controls for duplicate actions and access to linked elements. Existing roles are not affected until an administrator explicitly updates them.

• Filter search — The global filter and search functionality has been extended to support tag-based filtering across more record types, making it easier to narrow down lists using tags.

• Assessment templates — Minor refinements to the assessment template editor improve stability when working with sections and questions.

Fixes

• Workflow dates — Corrected an issue where workflow queue entries and workflow elements could display or store incorrect dates after certain operations. [NG-6006]

• General action buttons — Resolved a display inconsistency in the trailing action buttons shown on record detail screens.
