Overview

Release 112 delivers several user-facing improvements across the platform, including enhancements to how linked assessments are updated, how filters and search work, and how the dashboard displays project information. A number of bugs affecting object names, automatic translations, and audience flags have also been resolved.

What's new

Warning when no roles exist [NG-88]

A new alert is now shown when you try to add people to a project but no roles have been set up yet. This makes it easier to spot a missing configuration step before assigning team members.

Document approval workflow [NG-200]

The document approval process has been extended. You can now manage document approval states more precisely, including handling files as part of the approval flow.

Predefined elements for Information Security and Data Privacy [NG-205]

A new set of predefined catalogue elements for Information Security and Data Privacy is available. These ready-made entries speed up the initial setup of your records and controls.

Tags for organisational units [NG-316]

Organisational units can now be tagged, making it easier to categorise and filter them across the platform.

Status field on relevant objects [NG-317]

Key objects now display a dedicated status field, giving you a clearer at-a-glance view of where each item stands in its lifecycle.

Improvements

  • Filters and search – The filter and search bar has been overhauled to reduce unnecessary server requests and to include additional attributes (such as responsible person, status, and organisational unit) in search results. [NG-361]
  • Linked assessments – Linked assessments are now refreshed automatically when changes are made in the vendor risk area, keeping related records in sync. [NG-356]
  • International Standards – language buttons – Language selection buttons in the International Standards module are now fully enabled, allowing you to view standard content in multiple languages. [NG-406]
  • Automatic translation feedback – When automatic translation is unavailable (e.g. because the service is blocked), a clear message is now displayed instead of a silent failure. [NG-405]
  • Dashboard – project cards – Project cards on the dashboard have been updated to display additional information, improving visibility of project progress at a glance.
  • Description fields – Description fields across several modules have been updated and clarified. [NG-323]
  • Sharing / company search – The company search in the sharing settings has been improved for better usability.
  • Screen state on navigation – Screens now reset correctly when you navigate away and return, preventing stale data from being shown. [NG-271]
  • Audience read flag – The read flag for audiences is now correctly set and displayed. [NG-220]
  • Only active standards in dropdowns – Standard dropdowns now show only active (non-deleted) standards, reducing clutter.

Fixes

  • Object name not displayed – Fixed an issue where the name of an object was missing in certain views. [NG-535]
  • Assessment exception error – Resolved an error that occurred when opening certain assessments. [NG-400]
  • Checkbox logic in International Standards – Corrected wrong checkbox behaviour in the International Standards section. [NG-262]
  • Issues module – Several issues affecting the Issues module have been resolved. [NG-141]
  • Extra whitespace removed – Unnecessary extra spaces that appeared in certain fields have been removed. [NG-362]
  • Last updated field – Fixed a display problem when the last-updated timestamp was empty.
