What's new

Redesigned Assessment interface [NG-4628, NG-4469]

The Assessment answering and review screens have received a full visual redesign. The navigation menu on the left has a new look with dotted connecting lines between items and improved responsive behaviour on smaller screens.

Language switching in Assessments [NG-4259]

Respondents can now switch the display language directly within an open Assessment without leaving the page.

Time tracking per Assessment question [NG-4384, NG-4451, NG-4452]

The system now records how long a respondent spends on each question. A time-log chart is available in the evaluation view, giving reviewers visibility into the time invested per section.

Maturity scoring in Assessments [NG-5030]

Answers that carry a maturity score are now evaluated and displayed correctly, and the overall maturity score is calculated and shown in the Assessment summary.

Reopen closed Assessment questions [NG-4501]

Reviewers can now reopen a question that was previously closed, allowing respondents to update their answer without starting the entire Assessment again.

Jump to first unanswered question [NG-4499]

When re-entering an Assessment in progress, the system automatically navigates to the first unanswered question, saving respondents from scrolling through already-completed sections.

Finish button and completion message [NG-4496, NG-4264, NG-4544]

A dedicated "Finish" button is now shown at the end of an Assessment. Upon completion, respondents see a tailored completion message (different messages are shown depending on whether the Assessment is still open or has been closed).

Evidence box visibility [NG-4527]

The evidence upload box is now hidden when it is not applicable for a given question type, keeping the interface clean.

Target maturity review [NG-4502]

Reviewers can now inspect and review the target maturity level set for each Assessment question directly in the evaluation panel.

Previous answers panel [NG-4543]

A slide-out panel lets respondents and reviewers browse earlier answers to the same question from previous Assessment runs.

Logical deletion of linked elements

Deleted records are now handled with a logical (soft) deletion approach. When an item is removed, it is hidden from linked-element tables across the platform rather than causing errors or stale references.

Projects: Gantt view and audience visibility

The Projects detail page now includes a Gantt-style task view. The audience field is now visible in the project management overview.

General search loading animation [NG-5071]

A loading indicator is displayed while the global search bar fetches results, making it clear that a search is in progress.

Asset risk model: Excel export [NG-5069]

Asset risk data can now be exported to Excel directly from the asset risk view.

Improvements

  • Assessment header — The header bar in the Assessment answering screen has been redesigned for better clarity and alignment [NG-4628].
  • Assessment reviewer panel — Translation issues in the reviewer panel have been resolved and alignment of boxes and dividing lines improved [NG-4421, NG-4458].
  • Dashboard – Projects widget — The Projects card on the dashboard has been refreshed with updated statistics and an improved chart.
  • Tags — Editing a tag and returning to the list no longer loses unsaved filter state [NG-5100].
  • Standards activation screen — Feedback on which standards are currently active has been made clearer [NG-5114].
  • "All" tab shown first — In list views that feature an "All" tab alongside category tabs, "All" is now the first tab and is selected by default [NG-5067].
  • Vendor page — The vendor sub-menu and TOMs sub-section have been streamlined; a stale numeric indicator on the criticality field has been removed [NG-5142, NG-5143].
  • Risk settings — Categories in the risk settings can no longer be accidentally removed when they are still in use [NG-5063]. A bug causing incorrect damage and likelihood values in the process risk model has been fixed [NG-5121].
  • Asset risk model visualisation — A display bug in the asset risk matrix chart has been corrected [NG-5105].
  • Group management — Duplicate entries in group management have been prevented [NG-5034].
  • ROPA consultation process — A white-screen error when opening a consultation process record has been resolved [NG-5115].
  • Default admin user name — A default name is now assigned to the initial admin user account on new installations.
  • Intercom chat widget — The support chat widget is now only initialised when a real user is logged in, not during internal testing [NG-5122].

Fixes

  • [NG-4845] Fixed a crash caused by reading a property of an undefined object in several list views.
  • [NG-5118] Corrected the damage options shown in the risk-scenario tab within TOMs.
  • [NG-4007] Resolved a translation error that caused certain labels to appear in the wrong language.
  • [NG-5100] Fixed a bug where tags were duplicated when returning from the edit screen.
  • [NG-5011] Internal content-negotiation fix that improves how the application serves data to different clients.
