Overview

This release delivers a major overhaul of the Group Sharing module: compliance officers can now see a dedicated sharing view, push updates to connected companies, track every change made to shared records, and un-share records when needed. Several supporting improvements were made to the Dashboard, ROPA classifications, and International Standards, and a number of bugs were fixed across the platform.

What's new

Redesigned Group Sharing view [NG-1011]

The Group Sharing section has been fully redesigned. You can now see a clearer, structured overview of all records shared across your group, including which companies they are shared with and their current sharing status.

Force-push of changes to shared companies [NG-1039]

When you update a record that has already been shared with one or more group companies, you can now force-push those changes so that the receiving companies immediately receive the latest version. A confirmation toast notification confirms when the push was successful.

Change tracking for shared records [NG-1132]

Every modification to a shared record is now tracked and stored in a change history. A counter shows the number of unpublished changes, and a dedicated view lets you review what changed before or after a push.

Download changes from the parent company [NG-1131 / NG-1129]

Companies that receive shared records can now download the latest version of changes pushed by the parent company, with a clear visual summary of what has been updated.

Un-sharing of records [NG-1173]

Records can now be explicitly un-shared from one or more group companies. The process tracks the de-linking event in the change history.

ROPA Classifications tag [NG-1045]

A new "ROPA Classifications" tag type has been added to the Tags settings. This allows you to categorise and label ROPA records with classification values specific to your organisation.

Dashboard cards now include direct links to related Assessments and ROPA Vendor Controller records, making navigation from the dashboard to the detail view faster.

Improvements

  • Group Sharing – company list: The list of companies in the sharing dialog now supports infinite scroll, so large group structures load progressively rather than all at once.
  • Group Sharing – permissions: IT Security Managers and Data Protection Coordinators now have access to the sharing functionality.
  • Assessment Builder – permissions: Data Protection Managers and IT Security Managers have been granted access to the Assessment Builder.
  • Sharing view – localisation: All labels and field names in the sharing views are now fully translated into English and German (and all other supported languages).
  • International Standards: Several missing or incorrect standard entries have been corrected and updated [NG-1160].
  • Tags – wrong tag assignments: Incorrect tag associations have been resolved [NG-1154].

Fixes

  • [NG-1152] Fixed an issue affecting Azure-authenticated super-admin users on login.
  • [NG-1160] Fixed missing International Standards that were not appearing in the expected locations.
  • [NG-1154] Fixed incorrect tags being displayed or assigned to records.
  • Fixed an issue where the sharing indicator was incorrectly shown in the receiving company after a force-push.
  • Fixed duplicate requests being triggered when selecting linked element configurations in the sharing view.
