Overview
This release adds a new Workflow Settings screen, extends the platform's automatic translation support for assessment templates, and introduces a broad import/export feature that allows data to be transferred across modules — including ROPA, vendors, assets, incidents, tasks, and more. In addition, session handling across multiple browser windows has been improved, and several bugs have been resolved.

What's new
Workflow Settings [NG-5365 / NG-5428]
A dedicated Workflow Settings screen is now available. From here you can configure workflow-level options without needing to edit individual workflow records. The screen is accessible through the Workflow section of the platform.
Automatic Translation for Assessment Templates [NG-5428]
Assessment templates now support automatic translation. When content is added or edited, the system can generate translations for all configured languages without manual input, making it easier to roll out multilingual assessments across your organisation.
Import / Export for All Major Record Types [NG-5183]
The import and export functionality has been extended to cover a wide range of record types, including:
- ROPA entries
- Vendors
- Assets and Asset Groups
- Incidents
- Tasks
- DPIA records
- Data Collection Points
- Data Subject Requests (DSAR)
- Documents & Policies
- TOMs (Technical and Organisational Measures)
- Legitimate Interest assessments
- Meetings & Activities
- Projects
- Retention & Deletion records
- Legal basis entries
- Organisational Units
- Tags and custom statuses
This makes it significantly easier to migrate data, create backups, or synchronise records between environments.
Notification for Concurrent Record Changes
Users now receive an in-app notification when a record they are viewing has been modified by another user, helping to prevent accidental overwrites in collaborative editing scenarios.
Responsible Person Change Notifications
Audit entries and notifications are now generated when responsible persons are added to or removed from a record, improving traceability across the platform.
Improvements
- Session synchronisation across browser windows: A new mechanism keeps session state consistent across multiple open tabs or windows. A 401 (session expired) event in one window is now communicated to all other open windows, prompting a clean logout rather than silent failures.
- Tags — default tags protected from editing: System default tags are now clearly marked and cannot be edited, preventing accidental modifications to built-in classification values.
- Dashboard: Minor adjustments to dropdown behaviour and data transformation for improved reliability.
- Assessment frontend: The response handling for the assessment questionnaire has been refined for more accurate display of answers.
- Linked records — duplicate prevention: A validation layer now prevents duplicate entries when linking shared assets, and a clean-up migration removes any existing duplicates.
- Export/Import — dynamic status handling: Custom and dynamic statuses are now correctly preserved during export and import operations [NG-5493].
Fixes
- [NG-5001] Duplicate vendor type entries no longer appear after certain edit operations.
- [NG-4878] Audience permission settings are now applied correctly.
- [NG-5428] Translation objects for the Meetings & Activities field type are now handled properly when generating translations, preventing blank or malformed output.
- Fixed an issue where the language preference stored in session storage was not applied correctly on page reload.
- Fixed an issue where linked retention/deletion references were not resolved correctly in linked-record contexts.
- Fixed special categories not being correctly processed during import/export.
