Several workflow usability refinements round out the release.

What's new

Cancel a running workflow [NG-5636]

You can now cancel an active workflow from the record it is attached to (e.g. a ROPA entry, DPIA, incident, vendor, or task). A dedicated Cancel Workflow button appears in the workflow panel when cancellation is permitted for your role. Cancelled workflows are clearly marked and can no longer be interacted with, preventing accidental changes to a closed process.

Priverion-managed workflow templates [NG-5347]

A new section of ready-to-use workflow templates provided by Priverion is now available in Workflow → Templates. These templates are maintained centrally and can be used as a starting point without any manual setup. You can create a workflow directly from a Priverion template with a single action.

Dynamic review options in workflow steps [NG-5763]

Workflow review steps now support dynamic answer options and context-sensitive completion messages, giving workflow designers more flexibility when configuring review stages.

Identity Provider configuration improvements [NG-5740]

The SSO / Identity Provider settings screen has been significantly extended:

  • You can now provide an Identity Provider Metadata URL so that SAML metadata is fetched automatically.
  • SCIM endpoint values now have copy-to-clipboard icons directly beneath each field, making it easier to hand off configuration details to your IT team.
  • The screen now displays full metadata information for the configured identity provider.

Improvements

  • Workflow panel (all modules): The workflow overview component has been unified across all modules (ROPA, DPIA, Assets, Vendors, Tasks, Incidents, Meetings & Activities, Data Collection Points, Policies & Documents, Projects, Retentions & Deletions, TOMs, Data Subject Requests). The behaviour and appearance are now consistent everywhere.
  • Workflow queue: A new queue option attribute gives administrators finer control over which steps appear in the workflow queue view.
  • Select fields in workflows: The maximum display width of select/dropdown components in workflow steps has been increased, preventing long option labels from being cut off.
  • Risk module: The process risk edit screen has received minor display refinements.
  • Filters: Filter behaviour across list views has been corrected and stabilised.
