Release 46 brings the new Projects module, expanded language support with ten additional UI languages, and a wide range of improvements across ROPA, DPIA, Vendor, TOMs, Tasks, Assessments, and many other areas of the platform.

Overview

This release introduces the Projects module as a major new feature, allowing teams to manage data-protection projects with RASCI assignments, cost/impact tracking, step progress, and linked meetings. Ten new interface languages are now available, and numerous screens across the platform have been improved with consistent status menus, multi-select fields, and standardised save/add buttons.

Projects Module

A dedicated Projects area is now available in the main navigation. You can create and manage data-protection projects including:

General project information and classification

RASCI responsibility assignments

Cost and impact tracking

Step-by-step progress tracking

Linked meetings and activities

Reactivation of archived/closed projects

Ten New Interface Languages

The platform UI is now available in ten additional languages:

Czech (cs), Danish (da), Finnish (fi), Italian (it), Norwegian Bokmål (nb), Dutch (nl), Polish (pl), Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR), Romanian (ro), and Swedish (sv).

These join the existing supported languages. Users can select their preferred language in IT Settings.

Organisational Risk – Redesigned Cards View

The Organisational Risk screen has been updated with an improved card-based layout, making it easier to review risk items at a glance.

Vendor IT Risk – Linked TOMs per Question

When reviewing Vendor IT Risk assessments, each individual question now shows the Technical and Organisational Measures (TOMs) linked to it, giving a clearer picture of which controls apply to each risk question.

Status Menu Active State

All major record types (ROPA, Assets, Vendors, Assessments, TOMs, DPIA, Policies, Legitimate Interest, Meetings & Activities, Retentions & Deletions, DCP, Tasks) now display an active status indicator in the status menu, making it immediately clear which workflow stage a record is currently in.

Improvements

ROPA – Organisational units field is now multi-select, allowing a record to be associated with more than one unit.

TOMs / Assessment questions – The TOM selection field in assessment questions is now a multi-select, allowing multiple TOMs to be linked to a single question. Linked TOMs are also shown on the question detail view.

Policies & Documents – Organisational units field upgraded to multi-select.

DPIA – General form and detail view updated to reflect current data model; tab navigation improved.

Vendor – General form and detail view updated; tab navigation improved.

Assets – General form and detail view updated; tab navigation improved.

Data Collection Points (DCP) – General form and detail view updated; tab navigation improved.

Legitimate Interest – General form and detail view updated; tab navigation improved.

Meetings & Activities – Detail view updated; tab navigation improved.

Retentions & Deletions – Detail view updated; tab navigation improved.

Tasks – Detail view updated; RASCI component refined (recurring option changed, assignee column repositioned, add button removed from inline RASCI table for a cleaner layout).

Assessments – General and template screens updated; detail view improved.

International Standards – Default dropdown value now pre-selected for a smoother experience.

Applicable Laws (Compliance Settings) – GDPR compliance indicator now displayed on the Applicable Laws screen [NG-3727].

Save / Add-to-list buttons – Standardised appearance and behaviour across all list screens for consistency [NG-3487].

Main navigation – Active menu item is now visually highlighted when a section is open [NG-3742].

Tags (Compliance Settings) – Tag management extended to support project domains.

Filers & Keepers – Minor display fix applied to the edit screen.

Fixes

Tasks – resolve action – Fixed an issue where resolving a task from the detail view did not behave correctly [NG-3775].

RASCI / Task dropdown – Fixed a bug where deleting an option from the RASCI or Task dropdown caused unintended behaviour [NG-6c0650f hotfix].

DPIA tabs – Fixed incorrect tab rendering on the DPIA detail screen.

Vendor tabs – Fixed incorrect tab rendering on the Vendor detail screen.

Asset tabs – Fixed incorrect tab rendering on the Asset detail screen.

Maturity button – Fixed the active state display on the maturity button in the risk/TOM views.

Tag select in domain – Fixed tag selection behaviour in the domain field.
