What's new
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) management [NG-1825]
Two-Factor Authentication can now be configured and managed directly in the platform. Users can set up or review their 2FA status from the User Settings screen. Administrators are able to see each user's 2FA status in User Management. Super-administrators always have 2FA enforced.
Excel export for all major modules [NG-2077, NG-2080, NG-2081, NG-2082, NG-2083]
Records from the following areas can now be exported to Excel in addition to any previously available formats:
- Tasks and Projects
- Incidents & Breaches
- Data Collection Points
- Retentions & Deletions
- Meetings & Activities
- Documents & Policies
- Data Subject Requests
- Legitimate Interest
- DPIA
International Standards — compliance overview [NG-1983]
A new overview screen is available inside the International Standards section. It displays a visual summary of control completion progress across all active standards, making it easier to track your organisation's compliance posture at a glance. The overview updates in real time as controls are saved.
Assets tab in Vendor records [NG-341]
Vendor detail pages now include a dedicated Assets tab, allowing you to view and manage the assets linked to each vendor without leaving the vendor record.
Delete & reassign users [NG-836]
When deleting a user account, administrators can now reassign that user's items (records, tasks, etc.) to another user before confirming the deletion, preventing orphaned records.
Import / Export for additional modules [NG-2051, NG-2052, NG-2053, NG-2055]
JSON-based import and export is now available for:
- Data Collection Points
- Data Subject Requests
- Tasks
- Projects
- DPIA
Redesigned login and password-reset flow [NG-1825]
The login page, MFA verification step, and password-reset screens have been fully redesigned for clarity and consistency. The new flow guides users step by step and provides clearer error messages.
Improvements
- International Standards — risk selector column: The risk selector attribute is now visible and filterable directly in the standards list, and deactivated standards are automatically hidden from asset and asset group dropdowns. [NG-1976]
- International Standards — control percentages: The completion percentage calculation now takes all controls into account, including those not yet explicitly saved, giving a more accurate picture of progress.
- ROPA: Deleting a TOM now correctly removes it from all related dropdowns in Assets and ROPA records, so stale references no longer appear. [NG-1353]
- ROPA: When a new vendor is referenced inside a ROPA record, it can now be created on the fly without leaving the form.
- ROPA — TOM list refresh: The list of TOMs in a ROPA record now refreshes automatically after changes, without requiring a manual page reload.
- User Management: The user list now excludes deleted or inactive users from relevant dropdowns throughout the application.
- Projects: A workload column is available in the projects list to give a quick overview of effort distribution.
- Incidents: The "User" and "Audience" columns have been removed from the incidents list view to reduce clutter.
- Risk scoring: Copying a risk score between records is now supported. [NG-2043]
- Documents & Policies: Additional attributes are now visible in both the list view and Excel export.
- Login / Reset password: Styles on the login and password-reset screens have been updated for a cleaner appearance.
- Compliance Settings — Companies: The label for "Company type" has been adjusted for clarity.
- User Settings: The last-login timestamp now includes the hour, not just the date.
Fixes
- 2FA OTP input: The one-time-password input field on the 2FA screen now behaves correctly and is disabled while a submission is in progress. [NG-1825]
- User — 2FA status update: A user was previously unable to update their own 2FA status; this has been resolved.
- Email addresses: Email addresses are now stored and compared in lowercase to prevent login issues caused by mixed-case input.
- Excel date columns: Date fields (incident date, reporting date, deadline, start date) are now correctly formatted as dates in Excel exports.
- Filters reset: Filter state is now correctly reset when switching between modules.
- Asset / Asset Group deadline: Quick-fix applied to ensure deadline updates are saved correctly on assets and asset groups.
- Import — Data Collection Points: An issue preventing DCP records from being imported correctly has been resolved.
- Import — Documents & Policies: Importing documents and policies now uses a dedicated import path to avoid creating duplicate file entries.
