Overview

This release refines the assessment frontend with improved language-switching support and more reliable validation for risk evaluations and Technical and Organisational Measures (TOMs). Several bugs affecting ROPA special-category names, control saving, and comment answer values have been resolved. Translation files for all supported languages have also been updated.

Improvements

• Assessments – language switching: Users can now switch the display language within an assessment more smoothly, ensuring questions and answer options render correctly in the selected language. [NG-5197]

• Assessments – duplicate abbreviation check: The duplicate-abbreviation warning now only flags abbreviations that clash within the same language, preventing false positives when the same abbreviation is legitimately used in different languages. [NG-5196]

• Risk Evaluation – validation: Additional validation has been added for risk evaluations and TOM status questions, reducing the chance of incomplete or inconsistent risk data being saved. [NG-5179]

• Controls – saving reliability: The internal handling of control identifiers during save operations has been improved, making control updates more reliable. [NG-5188]

• Policies & Documents / Tasks: Minor display and locale improvements ensure status labels and other text appear in the correct language throughout these sections.

Fixes

• ROPA – special category names [NG-5177]: Special-category names in the Record of Processing Activities were not displaying correctly following a data migration; this has been corrected.

• Assessment template import [NG-5178]: Importing an assessment template could fail under certain conditions; the import process is now more robust.

• Comment answer values [NG-5070]: Comment-type answers were not storing or displaying their values correctly; this has been resolved.

• HTML entities in text fields: Certain text fields containing special characters (e.g. &, ") were displaying raw HTML entities instead of the intended characters; these are now decoded properly.

• TOM validation for implemented measures: Validation logic for implemented TOMs has been corrected so that valid entries are no longer incorrectly flagged as errors.
