Release 172 (23.07.2024)
Version: 172
Release Date: 23.07.2024 19:00 CET
Overview
This release extends the workflow engine to two additional areas — Incidents and Projects — so that compliance teams can manage approvals and required actions directly within those records. The spider diagram in risk and maturity views has been enhanced with hover tooltips and a revised calculation method. A number of bug fixes address edge cases in assessments, data subject requests, and document management.

What's new
Workflow support for Incidents [FE-221 / FE-226 / FE-228 / FE-229]
Incident records now include a full workflow panel. You can trigger a workflow, track its current status, and action any required steps without leaving the incident detail view. The workflow overview and required-action list are displayed directly on the incident page.
Workflow support for Projects
Project records have received the same workflow integration. A dedicated workflow panel on the project detail and form pages allows you to start, monitor, and complete workflow steps associated with a project.
Clickable linked tasks and documents
When viewing a record that has linked tasks or documents, clicking on any entry now navigates you directly to the detail page of that item — saving you from having to search for it manually.
Tag creation re-enabled [NG-1814]
It is once again possible to create new tags on the fly when tagging records, after this capability had been temporarily unavailable.
Improvements
- Spider diagram — The diagram now displays a tooltip when you hover over a data point, showing the exact value. The underlying score calculation has also been revised for greater accuracy [NG-1816, NG-1820].
- Search bar — Translation support has been added to the search bar so that labels appear correctly in all supported interface languages [NG-1149].
- Assessment linked records — The display of linked assessment names has been updated for consistency across all modules (ROPA, Vendors, TOMs, Tasks, Projects, DPIAs, Assets, Data Collection Points, Policies & Documents).
- DPIA creation — The DPIA form now includes a dedicated data-mapping field, and saving DPIA records has been stabilised.
- Data Subject Request form — The deadline field now displays in the correct date format, and the default status is set automatically when creating a new request [NG-1812].
- Assessment result screen — The behaviour of the Save button on the result screen has been reviewed and corrected [NG-1811].
- Maturity level calculation — The method used to compute maturity totals has been updated to reflect a new calculation logic.
- Asset Risk register — Display and tagging improvements have been applied to asset risk model entries [NG-1723].
- Validation errors in print — Validation error messages are now suppressed when printing a record, keeping printed output clean.
Fixes
- [NG-1823] — An error that prevented saving a data mapping record under certain conditions has been resolved.
- [NG-1829] — An issue that occurred when no option was selected in a specific field during assessment completion has been fixed.
- [NG-1810] — Users can now delete documents attached to Incident and Breach records [NG-1810].
- [NG-1813] — Deleting a document from Documents & Policies now also removes any references to that document in linked records.
- [NG-1821] — Stability improvements have been made to the DPIA creation flow.
- [NG-1788] — Conditional logic and validation have been corrected in the assessment response flow.
