What's new

The system now includes legal basis definitions and special categories of personal data for several additional jurisdictions:

  • USA – legal bases and special categories added, including COPPA.
  • Brazil – LGPD legal bases and special categories added.
  • Australia – legal basis definitions added.
  • Canada – legal basis and special categories added.
  • Chile – special categories added.
  • South Korea – special categories added.

These additions ensure that ROPA records and assessments referencing these jurisdictions can be completed with accurate, jurisdiction-specific data.

Projects – Classifications tab

A new Classifications tab is available on the Project detail page. It allows you to assign and manage project classifications directly within a project record.

Personal Data – Library tab

A new Library tab has been added to the Personal Data section, providing a structured library of default personal data entries to streamline data inventory creation.

Assessments – single-choice calculation option

Assessment questions with a single-choice answer type now support a dedicated calculation option, giving template authors finer control over how responses contribute to scoring.

Improvements

  • Assessments – auto-deactivation: Assessments are now automatically deactivated when two defined conditions are met, reducing the risk of outdated assessments remaining active.
  • Assessments – persistent status message: A status/info message in the Assessments area now persists correctly across navigation, so important notices are no longer lost when moving between screens.
  • Assessments – template handling: Improvements to how templates are pre-loaded and linked/unlinked, resulting in more reliable template selection and fewer edge-case errors.
  • Assessments – unsaved-changes behaviour: Closing an assessment no longer inadvertently triggers a save, preventing unintended data writes.
  • Assessments – section and question management: Sections and questions within an assessment template can now be deleted individually, giving template authors greater flexibility.
  • Risk Settings: Several adjustments have been made to risk-settings configuration options, including a new option to show or hide the damage indicator.
  • Login screen: The login message display has been updated for improved clarity.
  • German translations: A number of German UI labels have been capitalised consistently to align with standard German capitalisation rules.

Fixes

  • Assessments – template link: Fixed a bug where unlinking a template from an assessment did not behave correctly.
  • Assessments – tab state: Fixed an issue where the currently active tab was not correctly highlighted after certain navigation actions.
  • Assessments – missing ROPA data: Resolved a problem where some ROPA-related data fields were missing from the assessment view.
  • Assessment template – question options: Corrected display and interaction issues with question option components within the template editor.
