Overview

This release introduces several exciting new features to boost productivity and provide greater flexibility in managing data, assessments and workflows. Key highlights include enhanced list overviews, advanced assessment tools, a new data flow map and improved DPIA functionality.

What's New

New Features

• Enhanced List Overviews
  • Description: This new feature allows users to select over 50 elements in all overview pages. This streamlines the selection process for large datasets. A new filter based on "created in timeframe" has been added for better sorting.
  • How to Access: The "select all" option is now available when selecting the first checkbox, which will automatically select the first 50 Elements. This can be accessed from any overview page. To filter, click on the search bar and select your desired attributes.
• Assessment review panel
  • Description: A new option to approve or decline all questions has been introduced to increase efficiency in the evaluation process.
  • How to Access: When assessing a questionnaire, you can find this option in the top right corner. Click the "Approve All" or "Decline All" button to apply the action to all remaining questions at once.
• Assessment Builder
  • Description: New options have been added to the menu for adding questions, including risk model questions, risk model calculations, and an end results screen. Additionally, the "Current Results Screen" has been renamed to "Intermediary Results" to reduce confusion.
  • How to Access: Risk model functionality requires selecting a risk model for the assessment template, which can be done on the left side of the Assessment builder interface.
• Data Flow Map
  • Description: The new Data Flow Map provides a visual overview of how data flows within your organization. Illustrate the flow through individual elements using a simple drag-and-drop process.
  • How to Access: Accessible from ROPA details or the Manage menu.
• Improved DPIA Functionality
  • Description: DPIAs can be classified using tags, and they now include risk scenarios and TOMs, similar to the ROPA risk functionality. Additionally, Excel exports now include linked assessments and their corresponding responses for enhanced traceability.
  • How to Access: To access the Data Protection Impact Assessment, go to the "Document" tab and find the corresponding section, or use the shortcut function (plus symbol in the top right).
• ROPA
  • Description: A new filter, "Transfers Abroad," has been added. This filter will display ROPAs with vendors linked to locations outside the current company's country.
  • How to Access: To filter, click on the search bar and select your desired attributes.

Improvements

• TOMs
  • Minor visual adjustments to the color scheme for the ROPA and Assets tabs. 
  • Tasks created from ROPA/Assets tabs now set the responsible person as the implementor. If not set, it will use the TOM's responsible person.
• General
  • The responsible person now has permission to edit the elements to which they are assigned.
  • Product Fruits is now available in the assessment response screen.
• Password Reset Screen
  • Valid special characters are now shown to the user; at least one is required.
• Asset (& Groups)
  • Small design adjustments.  
  • Clicking a TOM in the "current asset risk" tab now redirects to the edit current asset risk page.
• Group Sharing
  • Small visual improvements in the sharing screen for vertical switchers 
• Compliance Settings & Companies
  • The country setting and country field in the company edit form are now synced. Changes in Compliance Settings regarding country will update the company's country and vice versa.
• Assessments
  • Assessments created from permalinks now have the responder's name attached.
  • Intermediary results now show scores based on the range (e.g., 1-7, total score: x, 8-12, total score: y). The total score will be shown at the end.
  • Reviewer-Panel: Optional questions with no answers will now be automatically approved and can be reviewed by reopening them.

Bug Fixes

• Assessment review panel: The question numeration has been corrected. Fixed an issue where optional list item questions without answers lacked an approval button. Elements created from data mapping now correctly set the draft status.
• Assessment Template: Fixed an issue where duplicating questions could result in identical question numbers.
• Assessment Response: Fixed an issue where an invalid answer could sometimes be submitted with the "number question" type.
• International Standards: Design adjustments.
• Projects: Creating meetings & activities now redirects correctly back to the Project.
• TOMs: Creating documents & policies now redirects correctly back to TOM.
• General: The "load from organizations" option is now hidden if only one company is set.
