New Release

Version: 169
Release Date: 18.07.2024 19:00 CET

Overview

This release extends the Workflow engine to two additional modules — Tasks and Technical & Organisational Measures (TOMs) — and fully integrates workflows into the Data Subject Requests (DSR) module. The Assessment area receives several fixes around result display, dropdown behaviour, and email validation, as well as a new Excel export option. DSR filtering and search are also significantly improved.

What's new

Workflow support for Tasks

Tasks now support the full Workflow engine. You can view the active workflow status directly on a task's detail page, trigger workflow steps, and see any required actions — all without leaving the Tasks module.

Workflow support for TOMs

Technical & Organisational Measures (TOMs) gain the same workflow integration: workflow overview, trigger controls, and required-action tracking are now available on both the TOM creation form and the TOM detail view.

Workflow integration for Data Subject Requests

Data Subject Requests (DSR) now participate in the Workflow engine. The DSR detail page displays an active workflow overview, and responsible persons can action required workflow steps directly from the DSR record. Document upload and document approval steps are supported within DSR workflows.

Filters and search for the DSR overview

The DSR list view now offers dedicated filter controls and a search bar, making it easier to locate specific requests by type, status, or other attributes.

Assessment Excel export [NG-1116]

Assessment results can now be exported to Excel. An export button appears on the results screen, allowing you to download a structured spreadsheet of the assessment outcomes.

Improvements

  • Assessment – dropdown selection: Selected items in multiple-choice questions are now visually disabled in the dropdown so they cannot be accidentally picked twice. [NG-1798]
  • Assessment – result screen navigation: Clicking on a risk scenario linked from a ROPA record now navigates correctly to that risk scenario. [NG-1801]
  • Assessment – Data Mapping section: Layout and design of the Data Mapping tab in the assessment review portal have been corrected for better readability. [NG-1784]
  • Assessment – number fields: Leading zeros are now prevented when entering numeric values in assessment questions.
  • Assessment – email validation: Email fields in assessments are properly validated before saving. [NG-1735]
  • TOMs – name display: TOM names now display correctly when viewed from linked Assets or ROPA records.
  • Workflow overview: The workflow overview panel now respects user permissions before showing trigger controls, and displays richer trigger information.
  • Translations: Workflow-related terms and Data Mapping labels have been added or corrected across all supported languages, including German.

Fixes

  • Assessment results shown prematurely [NG-1800]: The results screen was incorrectly displayed after answering only one question when multiple questions had been reopened. This is now resolved.
  • Result display on imported templates [NG-1785]: Assessments based on imported templates could show a result-display error; users can now also edit imported assessment builder templates without issue.
  • Assessment design adjustments [NG-1783]: Several visual inconsistencies on the result question screen and validation messages have been corrected.
