Release 8 brings a range of visual and usability improvements across the platform, including better layouts, corrected labels, and more accurate display of responsible persons.

Overview

This release focuses on polish and consistency throughout the application. Several screens have received layout and spacing corrections, labels have been fixed to display correctly, and the responsible person selection now works more reliably across different areas of the platform.

Improvements

  • Assessments: Screen titles and general detail views now display more clearly and consistently.
  • Data Collection Points: Headers and spacing between items have been improved for better readability.
  • Tags (Compliance Settings): The back button on the tag edit screen now behaves correctly, and tag display has been tidied up.
  • Responsible Person selection: The current user is now pre-selected by default where applicable, and the selector has been resized for better usability.
  • Menu and tabs: Minor style improvements to the main menu and status menu for a cleaner appearance.
  • Date and time fields: Styling of date/time picker fields has been refined for a more consistent look.
  • ROPA Risk dashboard: Layout and display of risk cards and the progress bar have been improved.
  • Consultations & DPIA: General creation screens have received layout and formatting improvements.
  • Retentions & Deletions: Minor display improvements to the creation screen.

Fixes

  • Incorrect or missing titles on several screens (including Assessments and Data Collection Points) have been corrected.
  • A bug causing text translations to display incorrectly has been resolved.
  • Responsible person data was not always loaded correctly — this has been fixed so the right user is shown consistently.
  • Unnecessary capitalisation has been removed from various labels throughout the application.
  • Spacing issues between items on list screens have been corrected.
  • Border styling inconsistencies on certain form elements have been resolved.
